Bruce Bernstien has a broad-based federal and state income tax practice. His areas of practice include tax planning for taxable, tax exempt and governmental organizations, international business law & taxation, tax compliance and returns, estate planning, wills trusts, probate, asset protection, IRS & State tax controversies, business law and mergers & acquisition consulting. He has been providing these services to his clients during his 30 year professional career.
Bruce works with a wide variety of clients, including tax exempt organizations, closely-held corporations, publicly-held corporations, partnerships, limited liability companies, business trusts and State and Local governments. He also provides tax, legal and business advisory services to individuals. He provides all tax planning and tax return filing requirements.
His work with clients includes, in addition to providing all of their tax return filing requirements, working with tax exempt organizations, applying for tax exempt status with the IRS and state tax authorities, IRS ruling requests to the National Office of the IRS, reorganizations, restructuring & mergers of tax exempt and taxable organizations, unrelated business income tax studies, executive compensation reviews, employee/independent contractor status reviews, payroll tax requirements and advising regarding tax exempt bond requirements and arbitrage rebate obligations.
